QR Interoperable

Available in Argentina & Brazil

An interoperable QR payment system allows users to pay by scanning a QR code, regardless of which bank or wallet app they use. Interoperability means the system isn't locked into one specific provider—any compatible app can read and process the QR.

QR Code Generation:

A merchant or recipient generates a QR code containing payment info (amount, merchant ID, reference, etc.).

It can be a static QR (always the same) or a dynamic QR (changes with each transaction).

Standardized Format:

The QR uses a common format—often based on EMVCo (used by Visa/Mastercard) or national standards (like PIX in Brazil).

These standards ensure any compatible wallet can read and understand the QR.

Scan from Any App:

A customer scans the QR using any participating wallet or banking app.

The app reads the QR, shows the payment details, and the user confirms the payment.

Payment Processing:

Alfred processes the payment and the recipient gets notified once funds are received.
